Many of you may have seen the “unboxing” of another life-size project on Facebook about a month ago. Shelley Kolman Smith has been very busy at her home studio! By the end of June or early July we will have her “Jonah” sculpture cast in bronze, ready to be installed at the St.Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Apex, North Carolina.

The sculpture was originally sculpted out of clay and we are currently working on painting wax in the mold. From there we can set the pieces up to be dipped and cast. This sculpture is complete with Jonah, a big fish, and some waves. We can’t wait to see the final project in bronze! Follow us on Facebook for more updates on the Jonah piece!
